Pokemon Installation and Setup

Be aware: 

• You can only level the pokemon to 10 levels above your trainer level.  So you can not fully max it out until you hit level 40. 
• You can only get XL candy when you reach level 31 (before it is level 40)
• Inital Pokemon Storage 300; Item storage 350

On Oct 10/6/2022, I set up the 3rd account for my family. 

Now, I, my child and my husband have a pokemon account.

Now, I finally use Pokemon Trainer instead of using Google or Facebook to create a pokemon account.

There are many things I didn't notice before when I first played Pokemon, this time I try to make close observation and records the steps.

1. After downloading, when it runs, it immediately asks for DOB (date of birth)

2. Then set up an account. This time I use Pokemon Trainer Club instead of using Google or Facebook,  Email need to be verified.

3. Ask for a referral code. Time limit is up to 72 hours.

3. Set Nickname. It can be different from your Pokemon Trainer User name. But I choose to be the same. Note: Nickname can only be changed once. 

4.  Choose a team color

When I click the gym, it prompts up messages to choose a team.

5. When I start it, Pokemon CP will show ???. Only when I reach a certain level ( level 10, 15??, I can't remember exactly), CP will show up.  

You have to be at least level 5 to raid. Of course, if you want to raid Tier 5 Yveltal, you have to team up with several level 40 trainers. 

I create a raid room, with Ashley (43), Alana (41), I had to put Aaron's phone on my knee to raid (No hands to tap button. He just sat there and went through the raid process. The raid only lasted about no more than 2 minutes. He had enough mons to last for the raid. Aaron raid Yveltal at level 9. Raid is successful. But didn't catch Yveltal.

Note: Choose Buddy becomes Buddy History after a buddy is chosen.

This Rhyhorn was caught when Aaron was at level 9. 

  

6. Tag can only show at least level 15.  

I tried to create some tags and couldn't find it. So I wonder it would relate to trainer level. After Aaron hits level 15, tag messages shows up.

7. Install Pokemon Genie, only need to input trainer level
